Group Therapy
Grief can feel isolating, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Group therapy provides a structured and supportive space where individuals who have experienced similar losses can come together, share, and heal in community.
Our grief support groups are topical, meaning each group is designed for individuals facing a specific type of loss—such as pregnancy loss, the death of a parent, or the loss of a spouse etc. These groups offer a structured format, guided by a professional therapist, to help participants process their grief in a meaningful and supportive way.
How groups are formed?
Each group consists of a maximum of 8 participants and runs for 9 weeks, providing a safe and confidential space for connection and healing. After the initial sessions, there will be a reunion meeting to check in, reflect, and reconnect with group members.
Our groups are closed, meaning the same participants attend throughout the duration of the sessions. This allows for deeper trust, consistency, and a strong sense of support among members. Groups will begin once there is sufficient interest, ensuring that each participant is part of a well-matched, engaged group.
In addition to offering emotional support and connection, bereavement groups can also be a cost-effective alternative to individual therapy, making professional grief support more accessible.
Participating in a grief group can help you feel understood, reduce feelings of isolation, and provide tools to navigate your loss in a compassionate and structured setting. If you're interested in joining a group, please reach out to learn more about upcoming sessions.
